Bricklaying adapted to local ground & weather conditions We carry out bricklaying projects across streets including Fleming Avenue, Oakmount Road, Nightingale Avenue and Sandy Lane throughout Eastleigh, Fair Oak and the surrounding Hampshire areas. Local ground conditions in this region are a mix of chalk sub-soils with clay seams, meaning moisture is often retained beneath the surface. Combined with Hampshire’s winter rainfall and freeze–thaw cycles, this regularly leads to cracking mortar joints, stepped movement in garden walls and long-term structural weakness when foundations are not constructed correctly. For this reason all brickwork is installed with increased foundation depths, suitable footing preparation and reinforced construction methods where required, ensuring stability and longevity regardless of local soil movement or weather exposure.
